Accommodations at The Expanding Light Retreat
The Expanding Light Retreat offers a range of accommodations to support different group needs, comfort levels, and budgets. Groups may choose a single accommodation type or a mix, depending on availability and preference.
Deluxe Rooms - Private and Shared
Located in Harmony House, these rooms offer the highest level of comfort and privacy. Each room has a private entrance, private bathroom, desk, ceiling fan, hairdryer, and individual heating and cooling.
Harmony House is dedicated to expressing Paramhansa Yogananda’s vision of harmony among world religions. Each room is simply and elegantly decorated in the theme of one of the world’s great spiritual traditions.

Standard Rooms - Private and Shared
Serenity House offers inn-style accommodations with twelve rooms and shared hallway bathrooms. Most rooms feature two twin beds, with limited queen or king options available by special request.
Guests have access to a centrally located lounge with a television, inspirational library, and a small kitchenette for tea and personal items. These rooms are well suited for groups seeking simplicity and affordability while remaining close to shared gathering spaces.

Cabins
Cabins provide a more private, stand-alone option, each with a single room and air conditioning. Cabin guests use nearby shared shower houses located just a short walk away. This option appeals to guests who enjoy a more rustic experience with added privacy.

Tent and RV (Limited Availability)
Limited tent camping and RV accommodations are available for groups that include guests who prefer a more outdoor-oriented experience. These options are simple and do not include hookups or cooking facilities. All meals are included.
Due to fire safety and wildlife considerations, open flames and food storage at campsites are not permitted.
