What Awaits You During This Retreat:

  • Living with Ease — A New Perspective on Life

Learn how specifically refined practices, both physically and mentally, can soften physical tension and inner resistance. We’ll explore how right understanding, breath, and relaxation help you to cooperate with your body and mind, rather than life being a struggle.

  • Living with Vitality

Vitality is not measured by youth, but by energy, presence, and inner magnetism. With specific yoga postures, simple energization exercises, meditation, and conscious contemplation, you’ll reconnect with the life force that sustains clarity, enthusiasm, and purpose.

  • Living with Grace

Explore how grace is not something we lose with time, but something we grow into. Through discussion, meditation, and reflection, discover how attunement to divine grace allows life to flow with greater trust, dignity, and inner support.

  • Call on Your Inner Maturity Gained from Life Experience

Years of living bring not only physical changes, but also deep wisdom, resilience, and spiritual insight. Bring out the strengths you’ve gained in areas of greater perspective, emotional steadiness, patience, discernment, compassion, and the ability to respond thoughtfully rather than react. Pinpoint what characteristics to enhance, and what you might need to change.

  • Living with Joy

Joy is the soul’s natural state. Through devotional practices, shared inspiration, and quiet inward attunement, you’ll be guided back to the joy that exists independent of circumstances—and grows stronger with spiritual maturity.

Rooted in Timeless Teachings, Open to All

Here at The Expanding Light Retreat, everything we share is inspired by the universal spiritual principles of Paramhansa Yogananda and his direct disciple, Swami Kriyananda. Their practical, uplifting wisdom is about living with greater peace, joy, and clarity—something anyone can benefit from.

While our roots are in this tradition, the practices themselves—yoga, meditation, and simple living in harmony with higher truths—are universal. Wherever you are on your journey, you’ll find inspiration and support to deepen your own connection with what is most sacred to you, in a way that feels natural and authentic.
