"Raja Yoga, the "Royal Yoga," is the science of God-realization, a step-by-step means of reuniting the soul with Spirit"

On this retreat you will be with others who are also wishing to explore or deepen their yoga and meditation practice. Learn from instructors who have been meditating daily for many years, and enjoy yourself in a peaceful, secluded setting. During this weekend you will be helped to establish a strong meditation and yoga practice that you can bring back home with you.

During this retreat you will:

  • Be given an ancient technique for meditation
  • Learn the Art and Science of Raja Yoga
  • Practice Hatha Yoga (postures), Karma Yoga (service), and Bhakti Yoga (heart)
  • Enjoy delicious vegetarian meals

If you would like a longer stay, there’s a place on the registration form to either add extra nights or come early for a personal retreat or seclusion.

What Others Are Saying

I highly recommend Ananda Meditation Retreat to anyone that is looking to gain a deeper understanding and working knowledge of yoga and meditation. The staff are all extremely well versed in these areas and share all of what they know with students. Every meal served during the retreat was delicious, and if you are camping there are plenty of secluded and beautiful spots to pitch your tent. Enjoy the peace and tranquility that Ananda so willingly gives to all. J. M., Red Bluff, CA
I arrived at the Ananda Meditation Retreat with very little experience in meditation and some limited exposure to western yoga. The warmth and acceptance and guidance of the incredible instructors at the retreat opened my heart and being to a new approach to meditation and yoga that enhances life. I have begun on a new journey that is exciting, invigorating and nurturing. Thank you to the Ananda Community for sharing your wisdom! S.B., Sacramento, CA
